Family knowledge of Alice Corinne Raulerson Horne, grandmother of Cheri Mae
Horne Wilson.
Isabella Higginbotham was originally believed to be the wife of John Peter
Hart. However, the 1885 Orange county census, shows that Isabel Hart's mother,
H.H. La Filst, age 56, with living or visiting with the Hart's. Isabel was sick
with child birth, her mother probably visiting to help with the other five
children. Based on this census, it is felt that John Peter did not marry his
cousin, Isabella Incy Higginbotham.
