the family and homeplace and plantation was built. There was a family cemetery
near their home, now known as Hortense Memorial Cemetery, near the village of
Hortense, Wayne Co., Georgia. The family belonged to the Methodist Church.
Lived in the lower Satilla River in the vicinity of Hoboken and Hortense Ga.,
with husband.
