1910 Census: William gave his occupation as fisherman, by the Hook and
Line method. He and his wife Ida had been married 23 years, had 8 children and
seven were still living at home. His son Edwin was a Fruit Farmer, while his
son Wade followed the fishing trade, also with Hood and Line.
1920 census: William and his family have three borders living with them;
Phillip Pinder, age 23 of Florida, house plasterer; Joseph J. Orr, age 23 of
Scotland, house plasterer; and Winford H. Phillips, age 34, of Florida;
house brick mason. William's occupation was house carpenter. William listed the
birth place of his parents as Georgia and Florida.
Obituary: William Bartholomew Raulerson, a resident of Jupiter Fl. since 1929,
died Saturday afternoon at a local hospital following a brief illness. A
retired carpenter, Mr. Raulerson was a member of the Methodist Church of
Geneva. Survivors: wife Ida Virginia Raulerson, 4 sons Horace F. Raulerson,
Edwin Raulerson of Jupiter, Wade Raulerson of Geneva, Fredrick Raulerson of
West Palm Beach; 2 daughters Mrs. Kenneth M. Horne Sr., Mrs. Elouise Diaz of
Jupiter; 3 brothers Frank Raulerson, Lucius Raulerson of Jupiter, Herschel
Raulerson of Miami; 3 sisters Ida Coffey, Mary Nicholson, Lillian Raulerson of
Mims; 14 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Services at Woodlawn
Cemetery, by Rev. Clare Cotton; Simon Mortuary.
